Ute Mountain/Mesa Verde Birding Festival
Spring migrants and early nesters attract birdwatchers from across the country. Birding field trips include visits to a variety of habitats in spectaculal settings for great birding adventures. Workshops and a special dinner speaker are also part of the festival.

Indian Arts & Culture Festival
Recognized by the American Bus Association as one of the TOP 100 Events in
North America, the Festival begins on Memorial Day Weekend with events centered
in Mesa Verde National Park. A juried Indian Market, featuring world-renowned
artists from Pueblo, Zuni, Hopi, Navajo, Ute and Apache tribes and a Navajo
rug auction take place on the first weekend. Native American dancers perform
and special archaeological tours are offered.

First Annual Verde Fest
Go green at Mesa Verde National Park, with an eco-event relating to conservation
and sustainability. Join in the efforts to save and sustain our planet.

Mesa Verde Country® Wine and Art Festival
This two-day event begins on Friday evening with a four-course gourmet winemakers'
dinner at the renowned Metate Room in Mesa Verde National Park. On Saturday,
Cortez City Park is the place for the annual Wine & Art Festival, featuring
wine from Colorado Wineries, food from local restaurants, and music and art
from some of the area's most creative artists.
